While the extra features on this grill cut away some of the surface area it is still a very large grill. Weber summit s 470 has standard grilling area where you can toss all types of food in the four different burners. We had high expectations when weber sent us a 2012 s 470 to test. It cooks beautifully and has great features that are clever effective and easy to use.
